BrandGate

Distributor portal for fashion in Stockholm County

A distributor portal isn't an e-commerce store — it's a branded, password-protected entry where your Stockholm County retailers see exactly their price list, their collections, and their orders. BrandGate ships that portal in the base plan.

What a distributor portal does for your fashion brand

A Stockholm County retailer — say an Östermalm boutique or a 12-store chain — doesn't want to email an order every restock. They want to log in, see your catalogue with the right price list and currency, place an order, and get the invoice automatically. That's exactly what the BrandGate portal does. The portal sits on your own domain (e.g. wholesale.yourbrand.com) and carries your colours, your logo, your typography. To the retailer it feels like an extension of your brand — not yet another tool they need to learn. Everything that belongs to a B2B relationship lives in one place: collections, price lists, order history, invoices, delivery status, and payment terms. When a new collection drops the retailer gets an email and goes directly to the portal to place the order.

Branded portal — no developer required

BrandGate's store editor lets you set up the portal's look with drag-and-drop: logo, primary colour, accent colour, typography, and selectable section types (hero, collection grid, categories, banner). No developer, no CSS, no design agency. The mobile view is generated automatically so a retailer placing an order from their phone in-store (common in central Stockholm) gets the same quality as via desktop. The portal is PWA-ready so the retailer can pin it to their home screen and open it like an app. Want more control? BrandGate supports custom CSS for specific sections and a custom domain with automatic SSL via Vercel. Enterprise customers can also white-label without any BrandGate branding.

Stockholm County — many channels, one system

Stockholm County has a high density of fashion retail — from NK and MOOD at Stureplan to Söder's Sevenday Studio and suburban chains ordering through central buyers. A fashion wholesaler distributing across the county typically works against 50–200 different retailers with different price lists, delivery requirements, and payment terms. BrandGate handles this with distributor groups: one for "NK & Åhléns", one for "Premium Boutiques", one for "Outlet & Sale". Each group gets its price list, its minimums, and its product visibility. Onboarding a new retailer means picking a group and the whole setup chain follows. Delivery windows and priority handling: an NK order has different SLA than an outlet order, and BrandGate signals clearly to the 3PL which orders need picking first.

Multi-currency + Swedish VAT from day one

A Stockholm County retailer is usually Swedish and invoiced in SEK at 25% VAT — but if you also sell to other Nordic retailers via the same portal, you don't want two systems. BrandGate handles multi-currency per distributor: a Swedish retailer sees SEK at 25% VAT, a Norwegian retailer NOK without Swedish VAT (reverse charge), a Danish retailer DKK with EU reverse-charge. FX rates update daily via BrandGate's pg_cron job against ECB/Frankfurter, so a Norwegian retailer always sees a fresh conversion. As wholesaler you invoice and book in SEK; the currency conversion is the retailer's view and doesn't touch your accounting. Skatteverket OSS reporting is handled automatically for B2C flows if you sell hybrid B2B+B2C.
